There is no doubt that the most enigmatic character in the Mahabharata is Karna. The eldest son of Kunti brought up as the son of a Suta turned out to be a great warrior, one whom Yudhishtira feared the most. His death at the hand of Arjuna virtually ended the war, with only the formality of killing Duryodhana remaining.
Abhimanyu – the mightiest warrior of the Great War
Everyone knows the story of Abhimanyu. It is the story of a young boy who broke into the formidable Chakravyuha military formation and created havoc in the Kaurava camp. Single-handedly he battled the entire day with the Kauravas until he was finally killed in cold blood and deceit by the Kauravas greats.
